Matou

DJ, composer, and producer, Matou blends a classical background (piano, cello, musicology) with deep roots in hip-hop culture. A respected figure in the French rap scene, he has performed alongside artists such as PLK, Chilla, and Youssoupha, while steadily building his own sonic identity.

Through his Elixir compilation series, he creates a collaborative space that merges heavy-hitting beats, refined melodies, and bold artistic pairings. His hybrid approach _ both technical and emotionally driven _ reflects a clear musical vision and a strong hip-hop heritage.

Élixir Volume 2

The sequel was created with the same artistic standards _ and just as much ambition _ but without any of the guests from volume 1. Matou took on the challenge of reinventing his world (while keeping his musical style) by bringing in a new group of talented artists.
This second elixir continues the adventure, fulfilling its promise of a trilogy, remaining faithful to the original project and seeking to surprise.
