AFFA – Underground Music, Superstar Vision

An artist grounded in identity and vision

Born and raised in the north of Paris within a Senegalese family, AFFA shaped her voice through soul, R&B and rap. After introducing her universe with ECHO (2024), she returns with Underground Music, Superstar Vision, a project where she fully embraces her character, her roots and her ambitions.

It marks the transition from exploration to assertion, an artist stepping into herself.

The meaning behind the project

The project’s title captures its dual nature:

  • Underground Music as the raw, honest origins.
  • Superstar Vision as the forward momentum, the belief in one’s potential.

This tension defines the entire project: staying true to the real while projecting toward something greater.

Challenges, direction and ambition

With limited resources but a clear vision, the challenge was to solidify AFFA’s artistic identity through a fully immersive experience music, visuals and performance aligned under one narrative.

The approach had to be impactful yet sincere, accessible yet uncompromising.

Musically, this meant short, intense and unfiltered tracks, blending soul, R&B and Rap in a format that prioritizes emotion over convention.

Visually, the universe was anchored in real settings, her neighborhood, her daily life, captured through a single artistic eye (director Kidhao) to ensure consistency and authenticity.

Together, these choices formed a statement: true identity can be a creative aesthetic, not a limitation.

A serial digital rollout

To bring the project to life, Noble. designed a 10-week release strategy built around weekly anticipation:

  • Wednesday: narrative teaser voiced by AFFA
  • Friday: release of the track and its visual
  • Monday: behind-the-scenes photo capturing the human story behind the art

This serial rhythm created a clear structure, a growing audience connection, and a long-form narrative unfolding week after week.

Live, community and closure

The project naturally extended to the stage with two key performances: La Maroquinerie (Paris) and Jumeaux Jazz Club (Lausanne), confirming AFFA’s presence as a live artist.

In parallel, AFFA released a limited capsule collection: a single high-quality white t-shirt featuring the project’s logo, created with her musicians, technical crew and Noble. team, highlighting the collective spirit at the heart of the Mixtape.

To conclude the chapter, a short film distilled the project’s visuals into a single narrative piece, serving as an intimate and cinematic closure to this cycle.

Underground Music, Superstar Vision is a concise yet powerful statement from AFFA and Noble.: an independent project built on authenticity, coherence and ambition.

By transforming constraints into creative direction and aligning music, visuals and community, this chapter sets the foundation for the artist’s next steps rooted in truth, driven by vision.
